Connector

The parameters the caller supplies - USERNAME, PASSWORD and whatever else the type needs. The template's own supplied parameters are merged in server-side and win where a name appears in both; its other parameters fill in only what the caller left out. A value may be null, for a parameter that has none.

DataproviderId

The name the opened dataprovider gets in the session - the dataproviders/{id} to use from then on. Left out, the server generates one.
